Be Prepared! Tomorrow Is a BIG Day for Disney World Annual Passholders

TRON Lightcycle / Run officially opens in Magic Kingdom on April 4th, 2023, but select groups are able to enter the Grid before the ride is open!

Cast Member previews are well underway for the ride, and Disney also shared that DVC Members, D23 Gold Members, and Annual Passholders will get previews as well. Disney shared a few details about the Annual Passholder previews, but we’re sharing what you need to know before those registration emails go out.

Disney had previously confirmed the Annual Passholders would be taking place for TRON before it officially opens, and we later learned that registration emails would be sent out on February 16th for APs to schedule a ride into the Grid. But, Disney didn’t really expand on what the registration process would look like, so we’re taking a look at what has happened in the past.

For other attraction previews, we’ve seen registration emails sent out in “waves,” meaning some Passholders might get emailed before others. We may see this happen for TRON, so don’t worry if you don’t get an email right away. Be patient, and check your spam folder along with your inbox.

We also don’t really know what will happen once those emails are sent out — Disney could send an email with a link to register right then and there (most likely with some sort of virtual queue system.)

There’s also a chance that the registration email could include a link along with a time that the queue will open. For now, all we know is that Annual Passholders will be receiving registration emails on February 16th.

Disney also shared that APs will be able to register up to five additional Annual Passholders, but there are some things you need to know:

All guests being registered must have a valid Annual Pass
Guests must be linked in your Friends & Family list in My Disney Experience
Guests must opt in to sharing “All My Plans”
Pass blockout dates will apply
