More CHANGES Hit the ‘Moana’ Attraction in Disney World

We’re back with another construction update from EPCOT!

There were TONS of construction updates from this past week you don’t want to miss, but we’re going to focus again on Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana!

As a reminder, this is a walkthrough attraction coming to EPCOT’s World Nature pavilion that will follow the water cycle. It’s inspired by Moana (hence the name), and we’ve seen lots of progress in the past few months.

However, in the past few weeks, it’s become a little more difficult to see the changes happening because they’re gotten smaller. There is still lots of progress that needs to be made on this attraction, but we don’t know their timeline, so you never know what to expect! However, we are noticing that the pathway behind the exhibit looks like it’s almost fully paved.

Progress behind the exhibit

Workers are also planting more trees behind the cement wall at the back of the exhibit. This is likely to cover up the look of the cement when you’re walking on the pathway behind it, which may take you out of the magic. Could this be the exit pathway out of the experience? We’ll have to wait and see.

We also noticed that there’s some work going on near the rocks of some of the existing pathways, but there’s so much greenery in the way, it’s hard to see!

Something is being worked on!

As always, we’ll keep an eye on this exhibit as it continues to develop (as long as we can keep seeing past those trees that are growing!). In the meantime, you can check out updates on some of Disney’s other projects, and stay tuned to AllEars for all the updates.

What do you think they’ll work on next? Tell us in the comments!
