Early 2023 just seems to be the time of closures in Disney World.

A few weeks ago Splash Mountain closed its doors to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and now, another popular Disney ride is closing for a lengthy refurbishment in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That’s right, you may not get to ride Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster again for MONTHS.
Back in December, it was announced that the only roller coaster to have an inversion in Disney World would have a lengthy closure starting on February 20th.

As of now, there’s still no reopening timeline, other than the ride is expected to reopen this summer. This ride has closed unexpectedly many times in the recent past, so it seems like this refurbishment is needed.

So if you’re hoping to ride this one again before summer, make sure you get in line before February 20th. There are plenty of other closures going on right now, so be sure you’re up-to-date on everything and stay tuned to AllEars!
Here are the rides that have been hit with the most unexpected closures in Disney World!

This is my special needs adult son’s favorite ride and we are back in Disney in March…he will be sooo disappointed!!
I mean this year doesn’t seem to be a good year to go to WDW. Splash and this. Gonna make ride lines longer. Especially in Studios which doesn’t have a lot of rides as it is.
Awesome ride, no doubt the best roller coaster at Disney !!!
