Universal Studios Japan just released a tease about some exciting new character experiences coming to their park!
Wizarding World of Harry Potter fans will get a chance to get up close and personal with a few characters we’ve never had a chance to interact with before…until now!
Get ready to be enchanted by the magical creatures of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan! You can now embrace your inner Hagrid and explore the world of magical creatures, with the addition of a new, incredibly adorable attraction. Not only will you get to see some of your favorite creatures, you’ll also get to experience the fun, magical atmosphere of this fantastic world.
We are thrilled to learn that starting March 17th, some of your favorite magical creatures will be unleashed in the Hogsmeade section of the theme park. Hogwarts students and aspiring witches and wizards alike can learn the proper etiquette for approaching a Hippogriff and may even be lucky enough to receive a bow in return! Guests will also expect to find a mischievous Niffler poking around the Owl Post, a sweet and cuddly Pygmy Puff outside Zonko’s Joke Shop, and even visit with a freshly hatched baby dragon.
Magical creatures will be hiding around every corner, and you never know exactly what you’ll find. Be sure to explore the nooks and crannies of this wonderful Wizarding World, as no two visits are ever quite the same. Be curious, be brave, and you might just find a new magical friend!

The Wizarding World areas are already jam packed in the U.S. parks, so not sure where these meet and greets would go. Maybe, just maybe, there is an area for these planned already in the Wizarding World area of Epic Universe.
