NEW Details Revealed for Disney’s 100th Anniversary Fireworks Show

Who’s ready to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company?!

You know we are, and it kicks off at Disneyland Resort on Friday, January 27th! That’s just a few days away. With the clock ticking, we finally got some more details about one of the new 100th Anniversary nighttime spectaculars that will be premiering.

Theme Park Reporter Scott Gustin (@scottgustin on Twitter) has shared more details about Disneyland’s new fireworks show, Wondrous Journeys. It debuts on January 27th and will feature nods to every film released by Walt Disney Animation Studios (including the upcoming movie Wish).

It will have 18 different songs throughout, which will play as the movie scenes are projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Gustin also shared a quote from Disney about a new feature in the show — when Baymax from Big Hero 6 takes flight. “During a climactic moment in the story, the thumping bass of the song “Immortals” from “Big Hero 6” can be heard as Baymax takes to the skies over Disneyland Park with his rocket boosters propelling him into the night.”
