From World of Color — ONE, the new nighttime show premiering January 27th at Disney California Adventure, to all of the anniversary-inspired food coming to the parks this year — we’ve got tons of ways to take part in the event, and it just keeps coming! We recently learned that a classic spot on Main Street, U.S.A. will be reopening soon with a 100th anniversary surprise.

The Disney Gallery, which has been closed for refurbishment since January 9th, is officially going to be reopening for the celebration at the end of this month!

Disney announced that The Disney Gallery Presents: Disney 100 Years of Wonder will be home to a new exhibit “inspired by Walt Disney’s vision for Disneyland to be where his films come to life”

In this exhibit, you’ll be able to “see beautiful artwork created by original Disney animators for some of Walt’s early films,” as well as artwork “concepted by original Disney Imagineers to recreate those stories in the park.” An animator’s desk, a model of a multi-plane camera, and more will all be on display for you to experience in celebration of this special anniversary.

We are excited to see what this refurbishment and new exhibit will bring for the 100th anniversary celebration! Stay tuned to AllEars to keep up to date with all of the 100th anniversary news.
