The Latest CHANGES to EPCOT’s Moana Attraction

It’s 2023, and that means a LOT of new things are coming to Disney World and beyond.

EPCOT Construction

There are new unexpected costs to look out for, lots of new Disney films, and lots of new merchandise to celebrate the new year. There are also new attractions coming this year, and we thought it was about time to check on one of the new attractions coming to EPCOT this year — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.

Not a massive amount has changed since we last checked, but there’s certainly enough to report on!

An overview at the end of construction

Towards the end of the construction site, we can see where some of the lights help create a more natural-looking border hiding the cement wall from view, just like the rocks do.

Take a close look at the pavement

About half of the pavement/walkway also seems to be complete, which is a great sign!

The other half

The other half of the exhibit seems to be getting ready for the pavement to be laid. We can’t wait to see the two parts connected!

So pretty!

And as we’ve been seeing, the details of this attraction are already looking stunning.

From Good Morning America!

We recently saw a video inside the attraction giving us a sneak peek too! As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney construction news.
