The Unexpected Cost That’ll Affect Your 2023 Disney World Trip

If you’re already planning your 2023 vacation to Disney World, you’re not alone!

To have the most budget-friendly trip possible, you’ll want to compare prices for hotels and tickets, as well as search for available special offers on the Disney World website. But no matter how much you save in Disney costs, there’s one thing that’s hard to avoid — the cost of getting there!

2022 saw some rather high gas prices in Florida, but ultimately those prices began to dip down towards the end of the year. Now, Fox 35 reports that experts are yet again predicting high gas prices in 2023.

A tech company that monitors the fuel industry forsees gas prices breaking the $4 per gallon barrier in the next year. GasBuddy predicts that costs will peak at an average of $4.25 to $4.65 a gallon in Miami, $4.15 to $4.55 in Orlando, and $4.10 to $4.45 in Tampa. That’ll add significant costs to your trip if you’re driving!

If predictions are correct, these peaks are likely to occur in the summertime, then dropping back down again after Labor Day. GasBuddy says the national average will be about $3.17 before 2024 begins. Currently, the average cost in Florida is $3.12 per gallon and $3.16 nationwide.
