An Unexpected Disney World Restaurant Update That Could Catch You Off Guard

Walt Disney World is almost always changing.

Magic Kingdom

2023 is going to be a big year for Walt Disney World! Celebrations for the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company are underway, several new restaurants will be opening, and TRON Lightcycle Run will finally be opening! Now even more changes have hit Disney World but we aren’t sure if this one is for the better.

On the Walt Disney World website, we noticed that the hours for Disney’s Trail’s End Restaurant have changed. The table service restaurant is located at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness.

Currently, the hours are only showing availability for Thursday through Monday only meaning the restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is a major change since it is one of the few restaurants at this resort. This continues through mid-February which is as far as the calendar currently goes out.

Trail’s End Restaurant will be open for breakfast from 7:30AM -12PM and for dinner from 4:30PM -9:30PM Thursday through Monday. For those staying at The Campsites at Fort Wilderness, you can still grab a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner from P&J’s Southern Takeout which is open from 7:30AM to 9:45PM.

The Campsites at Fort Wilderness also have the Meadow Snack Bar, Crockett’s Tavern, The Chuck Wagon, and The Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue for dining options. Although these are options, they aren’t open all day so be sure to double-check Disney World’s website before your next stop at the campsites.
