Walt Disney World Railroad Reopening

We got some HUGE news about the Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom, which has been closed for over three years due to the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run. However, the railroad will be up and running soon — as in THIS holiday season.

Guests will once again be able to enjoy a trip aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad this holiday season at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This opening-day attraction returns with a completely refreshed track looping the park and an all-new voiceover guiding guests as they travel from one magical land to the next. During its closure, routine maintenance was done on the railroad, while some things were even refurbished.

Walt Disney World Railroad Changes

However, the Walt Disney World Railroad will have a big change when it reopens. Disney has commented that there will be “exciting new sounds and voices” to be heard while riding the train. A new narrator will be the “new conductor” with the premise that it’s someone who “grew up on Main Street, U.S.A., dreaming of the day they’d be on the railroad.”
