VIDEO! First Ride Through the TRON Tunnel on the Magic Kingdom Train

The Walt Disney World Railroad is FINALLY reopening — and sooner than you might think.

Breedlove on the reopened train!

That’s right, the train has opened TODAY, and we’re taking you along on a first look on what you can expect. This opening day attraction has been closed for YEARS, and when you do ride it you’ll notice a few major changes to the train’s route, including some new narration and a trip through the construction site of TRON: Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland. Come with us to see what it’s like to ride the train through an active Disney World construction site!

Construction on the TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster was part of the reason that the Walt Disney World Railroad had to remain closed for so long. That project interrupted some of the train’s tracks, but now there’s a tunnel going through the site that the train will use to pass by.

As you approach the tunnel, there is NEW narration from a very futuristic voice saying “unidentified users detected”.

While most of the tunnel is closed off…

….you do get a very exciting glimpse at the track for the TRON coaster up above you!
