As we make our way through the holiday week, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the parks and the wait times (spoiler alert: they’re high).

And to better help you plan your trip in the future, we’re bringing you a look from INSIDE the parks during this busy holiday week!
Magic Kingdom
Starting on Monday, December 19th, we noticed some big crowds in Magic Kingdom. One particularly long line was for Splash Mountain, which comes as no surprise as the ride will close in its current iteration this January.
If you plan on riding Splash Mountain before it closes for good, how long are you willing to wait? ?? pic.twitter.com/zBDghuT2mb

We also saw some LONG wait times in the park. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train hit two to three hours several times throughout the day. To skip the line, you could pay $12 per person as an Individual Attraction Selection.

However, things got confusing the next day, Tuesday, December 20th. While there were still some high wait times, the crowds were much more mellow than the previous day.

Don’t get us wrong, there were certainly still crowds. However, we found them less than the previous day. This could very easily be chalked up to the fact that the park has earlier closing hours due to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

We saw a good amount of people on Main Street, U.S.A. on December 21st…

…and in certain areas of the park it really got crowded!

By Thursday, December 22nd, those crowds were still going strong!

Stay tuned for more crowd updates throughout the week!
EPCOT
On December 19th, crowds were high at EPCOT, especially over at World Showcase.

Throughout the day we saw plenty of people around the park enjoying the Festival of the Holidays which is going on now.

As far as wait times, the highest waits we saw were for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After, both of which hit wait times over two hours throughout the day.

The longest lines though were probably for food and coffee! Take a peek at the line we saw for Starbucks in Connections Cafe.

We stopped by EPCOT on December 21st, and there were quite a few people waiting in line to get in.

We also saw a LOT of people walking around the World Showcase!

We’ll keep an eye on EPCOT throughout the week.
Hollywood Studios
On December 21st, there were some pretty decent crowds in certain areas of Hollywood Studios, but maybe the cold and rainy weather kept people away…

…even over near the Tower of Terror we didn’t see anything too bad.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on the crowds in Disney World this week, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.

Magic Kingdom crowds are almost always lower than average for the specific time of year the party happens, but the day before and day after party days are usually higher than average.
