During a Town Hall with Cast Members, Iger spoke about the Disney hiring freeze, the Park Pass Reservation system, and a potential merger with Apple. He also commented on the plan to move Disney employees from California to Florida that has been delayed.

According to Spectrum News 13’s Ashley Carter, Bob Iger said he knows about the delay for the move of Disney Imagineering from California to Florida, but that he hasn’t made a decision about it.

Disney bought land in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida last year and said they were going to build a campus and relocate thousands of Disney Employees to that location. The move was originally supposed to begin in July of 2021, but it was delayed. Disney spoke more about the plan being delayed in June of 2022, saying that the project has been delayed by more than 3 years to 2026.

As of right now, there isn’t an update about the move besides Iger saying he has not made a decision.
