It’s finally time for Blizzard Beach to reopen in Disney World!

The water park has been closed since January of 2022 and Disney fans have been anxiously awaiting a reopening date announcement. Typhoon Lagoon has now closed but as of today (November 13th), Blizzard Beach is open again!
Entering the Park
Much of Blizzard Beach looks the same as before, with some areas having been spruced up a bit.

In the park, we spotted some familiar faces with holiday-themed outfits! Goofy was greeting guests in a wintery ensemble.

And Santa Claus was there as well, decked out in his best tropical gear.

One of the biggest changes at this park, though, happened over at Tike’s Peak — the area for little kids and toddlers.
New Frozen Decor
Disney announced that they added brand new Frozen-themed decor to the park, and we were excited to check that out! We spotted the Snowgie pals with Olaf in the wading pool.

Look how cute Olaf is! Some of the Snowgies squirt water out at guests.

Also in this area is a new igloo castle, with Anna and Elsa on top!

This castle also squirts out streams of water that guests can play in.

You’ll find these additions at Tike’s Peak, also known as the kids area of the water park.

Some other changes to this park include new snacks like the Orange Slope Dole Whip Swirl and the Watta-Melon Passion Lemonade. We’ll be trying out those treats soon, and we’ll let you know how they are!

Typhoon Lagoon did close as of November 12th and there is currently no reopening date for the park. But you can head into Blizzard Beach now for all your Disney World water park adventures.

We’d love to make it a day at typhoon lagoon. In 23 I splurged and rented one of the hearts. It was perfect for when the sun got a little hot. Getting around Typhoon Lagoon is so easy. Whenever we go to Disney we stay for about 10 days and we spend three or four of them at Typhoon Lagoon. Some days we do the park in the morning and go to typhoon lagoon in the afternoon.
Cool. Ha
Wow.. thanks for all the amazing changes update
