Latest CHANGES to the Upcoming Polynesian Village Resort DVC Building

We’re back with another construction update!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

One construction project was recently finished at this resort, and now you can dine in at Kona Cafe again (be sure to grab that reservation)! However, the new DVC Villas still have a long way to go, but progress is being made. Let’s check in on the latest developments.

Most recently, we’ve seen some large blue open containers on the ground that seem to be holding dirt, gravel, and other materials for the base of the new building/the environment.

We’ve also seen many trucks and construction vehicles moving items in and out of the area.

Things are coming along!

And remember that massive pile of dirt? It seems to have diminished. It’s likely either been distributed to the areas around the plot where it was needed or was removed from the premise as a whole.

You’ve really gotta look closely to see this project develop through the weeks, but big progress is being made over at TRON in Magic Kingdom and Moana: Journey of Water in EPCOT! Disney World has lots of construction going on right now, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars to see if it will impact an upcoming trip of yours.
