Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to reach landfall in Florida tonight. As a result, we’ve seen several closures announced, including Orlando International Airport, the Disney World theme parks, and Disney Springs.

Disney World also recently adjusted its cancellation policy for those who might need to cancel or change their trips due to the storm. But what does Disney World look like ahead of Tropical Storm Nicole? Let’s take a look.
Well, we can tell you that it’s already a dark and stormy day in Disney World, as seen here in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Needless to say, the ponchos are out!

Magic Kingdom is also a sea of people in ponchos, but it doesn’t seem like the rain has affected crowds.

The rain does bring some challenges, though, particularly for those ordering counter service meals in the parks. The rain makes eating a meal outside a little tricky. Before Hurricane Ian, we saw several outdoor tables and chairs being removed, but at around 3PM the furniture seemed to be in its usual spot.

We expect the weather to continue to be very wet throughout the rest of the day. So if you do end up in the parks, bring those raincoats and/or ponchos!

Wow, this is crazy! We already had hurricane Ian and Disney closed for that. Now we have tropical storm Nicole making its debut. This isn’t great. I love Disney SO much and I can’t believe they have to close it to super bad weather!
