Orlando International Airport Issues Ground Stop Due to Storms in Area

Orlando International Airport has issued a ground stop due to storms in the area. So far no flights have been canceled, but it is significantly affecting inbound flights to Orlando.

Flights at MCO have been grounded.

WESH reporter Eric Burris shared how the ground stop is impacting travel right now. Currently 152 flights at Orlando International Airport are on time and 29 flights are delayed.

We are currently in Disney World and here is a look at the rain in EPCOT right now.

Here’s a look at the storm’s path. The rain should be stopping in about an hour, but that is subject to change.
