United Airlines Will Make It EASIER To Fly to Europe This Summer

Travel has slowly but surely started to normalize after a chaotic few years wreaked havoc on the industry.

Not only have we seen countless flight delays and cancelations, but some airlines cut certain flights from their schedules altogether due to staffing issues. But now, one airline is actually adding flights to its upcoming schedule, and it includes more international flights!

Get ready to pack your bags, because United Airlines is adding flights to its summer 2023 schedule! Oh, and you might want to bring your passport as well because these flights are trans-Atlantic.

According to CNN, the airline is “redoubling” efforts to avoid the travel crisis that hit many travelers trying to fly to Europe in 2022, when passengers were faced with lost luggage, hours-long lines, delays, and cancelations.

The new summer 2023 schedule includes additional frequency on existing routes, four new city pairs, and three new destinations: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Málaga, Spain; and Stockholm, Sweden. The airline claims its new trans-Atlantic schedule is 10% larger compared to 2022.

Have you flown recently?

But, airlines have been forced to cut their schedules to account for passenger caps that have been imposed by certain airports, like London Heathrow, which is planning to drop its passenger cap later this month.

United executive Patrick Quayle has said this won’t be an issue for the airline, though, as they are “working very close with the actual airports in Europe to make sure that they can handle our passengers and handle the new flights at the appropriate times.”
