Ever since then, Star Wars fans and Disney World guests have been staying at the Star Wars Hotel, however if you have a trip this week it may be impacted by Hurricane Ian.

From Tuesday, September 27th through Thursday, September 29th, all voyages on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser have been canceled. This is “due to the potential impact on the guest experience” according to Disney.

Power outages are expected to happen in Florida as Hurricane Ian gets closer — this could greatly impact the Star Wars Hotel. Guests pay thousands of dollars for this experience on the “ship” and to visit Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it is possible the experience would have to be altered, so this is likely why Disney decided to cancel stays on these dates.
