Here’s the truth: Disney World has a LOT of restaurants. But is it enough? Debatable!

Many popular restaurants require reservations you have to book in advance, and quick service restaurants’ mobile ordering slots can fill up very quickly on busy days. We took to Facebook to ask our readers what restaurants they would like to see in Disney World, and you all had some awesome answers!
Disney Themed
The No. 1 Disney-themed restaurant we saw mentioned was a Snuggly Ducking restaurant or bar inspired by Tangled! The only Snuggly Duckling representation we have in Disney World is the float in the Festival of Fantasy parade. Many guests shared that they would love to see a Snuggly Duckling restaurant or bar in Magic Kingdom.

Guests also exclaimed that they want Pizza Planet back in Hollywood Studios! While there is a restaurant in Disneyland, our readers shared that they want a Pizza Planet back in Hollywood Studios (with actual good pizza, one reader clarified) in Toy Story Land. The original Toy Story Pizza Planet Arcade closed in Hollywood Studios in 2016.

Another popular response was Tiana’s Place. Readers really would love to see more Tiana representation in the parks and try her delicious dishes mentioned in Princess and the Frog.

Guests also shared their love for Blue Bayou in Disneyland and would love for it to make its way to Disney World. Especially if it was connected to Pirates of the Caribbean like it is on the west coast!

Many readers also expressed they would love to dine in a villain-themed restaurant. As we’ve seen with the popular Descendants films and the popularity of Disney villain events, Disney heroes aren’t the only characters that fans love and want to see more of. Top Of The World Lounge has recently reopened as being rethemed to Villain’s Lair, but guests still want more!

Non-Disney Themed
Many readers also suggested fast food restaurants that have nothing to do with Disney. One of the most common responses was Chick-Fil-A! While you can order Doordash, Uber Eats, and other delivery services to your hotel, having a CFA in the parks would make it easier for guests who are a fan of their menu.

Another popular response was a restaurant that’s open 24 hours, such as a Waffle House. One guest even specified that they’d love a 24-hour breakfast restaurant, so Waffle House would fit that description!

Lastly, a common response was also, and we quote, “a reasonably priced one.” We laughed, and not gonna lie, we see where you’re coming from! Lots of Disney World restaurants are expensive.

However, we’ve done lots of research on restaurants in Disney World, and we can say that there are great, cheaper options available as well. We’ve got a list of the best restaurants at every price point in WDW, and we make it our mission to eat as much as we can in the parks so you know what’s worth your money and what may not be. I still don’t understand why there isn’t a Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios. I mean, you have an entire Toy Story land, it seems that Pizza Planet (with good pizza) is such an obvious choice. They could even make it a character dining experience with Buzz & Woody and the gang. People would love that! Also, no biggie, but that’s Belle waving from the balcony in your “Hey Tiana” picture. Her dress is mashed up against the glass making it look a little green.
