We know when we budget for new Disney souvenirs that merchandise in the parks doesn’t usually come cheap. The same is true for a lot of Disney merchandise online, as well. But we’re not usually expecting to spend quite THIS much.

Disney Designer Doll Collection

The Disney Designer Collection features princesses dressed up in clothes created by professional designers. We’ve seen Snow White, Moana, Merida, and more princess all with elaborate outfits, detailed accessories, and price tags to match. Now, the newest princess doll is available on shopDisney! But is it worth the COST?

The newest Disney princess to get a designer makeover is Cinderella! This classic princess has a very fashionable look, which was created by designer Daria Vinogradova.

Vinogradova took inspiration from the iconic transformation scene in the Cinderella movie, when Cinderella’s blue gown is created for the ball. Cinderella’s outfit on this doll is a satin jumpsuit with elaborate embroidery and sheer sleeves.

The satin overskirt is removable, so Cinderella can be dressed in a ball gown or a jumpsuit.

Some of the details on this outfit nod to Cinderella, like the midnight “clock” purse and a bluebird clasp-and-chain belt. Of course, she’s also wearing her iconic “glass” slippers.

Only 9,800 of these dolls are being made, and each comes with a certificate of authenticity. But acquiring one won’t come cheap — each doll is $129.99.

This isn’t the first pricey Disney collectible we’ve seen recently, and it certainly won’t be the last. For Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, Coach came out with a new collection of fun (but not cheap) merchandise. And recently we spotted new Minnie ears that’ll cost you $500 each!
