Of all the changes happening at Disney World right now, some of the most exciting are the new food spots coming to the parks and hotels over the next couple of years. Now, we’ve got more details about one of these restaurants!

Disney’s BoardWalk is getting a new deli restaurant (appropriately named the BoardWalk Deli), which will replace the BoardWalk Bakery. Disney previously announced that the new spot will have a few deli classics, like a Reuben sandwich, as well as some tasty desserts, like cannoli. But now we know even MORE about the menu at this upcoming spot!
Disney has released an update about the BoardWalk Deli, including several menu items that guests will be able to find once it opens later this summer (which is bound to be soon — it’s already late July). The menu will be inspired by delis of the Northeast region of the United States, and it’s meant to take guests “on a road trip of classic sweet and savory flavors from New York to the Jersey Shore.”

Some of the new breakfast menu items will include house-baked bagels with a choice of schmear, along with some bagel sandwiches. Those bagel sandwiches will come in a few different varieties: an Everything Bagel Sandwich with cage-free eggs, sausage, and cheddar cheese; and a Bagel Breakfast Sandwich with cage-free eggs, bacon, sweet caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese.

There’s a Plant-Based Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich available, too, with “egg” Florentine, plant-based cheese, tomato jam, and arugula. Plus you’ll have achoice of several different sweet breakfast pastries.

That includes a Cannoli, Doodle Muffin, Banana Bread, and Mixed Berry Scone.

Lunch and dinner menus will include a variety of both hot and cold deli sandwiches, which are served on marble rye bread, ciabatta, or focaccia bread.

All of the bread is baked in-house. The Italian Sub is layered with thinly sliced capicola soppressata, pepperoni, provolone, arugula, tomato, arugula pesto, and mayonnaise, on ciabatta bread.

The Warm Pastrami Reuben is “a classic deli staple.” It’s made with rolls of thin-sliced warm pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing, served on marble rye bread.

More choices include the Roasted Chicken Sandwich (with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and roasted garlic aioli served on ciabatta). Sandwiches will be served with a side of house-made chips, coleslaw, or soup.
There’s also a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup.

Plant-based eaters can check out the Veggie Crunch Muffaletta, which has cured and pickled root vegetables, an olive-giardiniera tapenade, and plant-based cheese served on focaccia bread.

And guests can add a whole dill pickle to their meal as well.

Kids will have a choice between a Ham and Cheese Sandwich or a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Both meals are served with carrot sticks and strawberries and choice of lowfat milk or DASANI Bottled Water.

But don’t forget about dessert! Disney has said that there will be “no shortage of desserts to try here.”

There will be Cannolis (filled to order), which are made with a blend of mascarpone cheese, ricotta, and dark chocolate.

There’s will also eventually be a Blueberry Scone, made with crème fraiche and topped with pearl sugar.
Other sweet treats will include the New Jersey Crumbcake (a moist cake with a thick cinnamon-crumb topping) and the New York-style Half-moon Cookie (topped with chocolate ganache and buttercream).

Some sweet pastries that will eventually go on the menu include the chocolate-dipped Cream Puff, the Raspberry Danish (layered with custard, raspberries, and sugar crumble), and the Cinnamon Yummies (which are a returning treat). You’ll be able to check out the cookies, Brownie Cheesecake, brownies, Cookies & Cream Cupcake, and 50th Anniversary Celebration Cupcakes as well.

To drink, there is a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including juice, soda, and assorted fountain beverages.

Guests will also be able to get warm beverages like Hot Cocoa and Tea, as well as bottled water.

For those who need a little caffeine in their lives, a variety of coffee beverages are available, including a Cafe Latte, Cappuccino, and various Joffrey’s drinks.

Alcoholic Beverages are also available, including beer and seltzer.

Disney has promised that there will eventually be organic wine spritzes (by Ramona) in grapefruit, blood orange, and lemon flavors. Some cocktails (by Social Hour) will include Sunkissed Fizz (a vodka fizz drink with fruit and citrus notes) and Prizefighter (a combination of whiskey and peach).
