With the next generation of MagicBands — MagicBand+coming out soon, Disney has been focused on introducing the new bands and showing off all the new features. That’s why the new merchandise on shopDisney (Disney’s online store) is a little bit unexpected!

MagicBands

We’ve seen quite a few new items on shopDisney today, including some Disney Starbucks cups, a Haunted Mansion Spirit Jersey, and 2 new pairs of Minnie ears. But for guests looking to upgrade a Disney essential, you might want to check out all the new MagicBands available online now!

Although MagicBand+ debuts in Disney World very soon (on July 27th), guests will still be able to use their old MagicBands, and regular MagicBands will still be for sale. Most regular MagicBands will likely be cheaper than MagicBand+, which Disney has said will start at $34.99.

NEW MagicBand+

MagicBand+ bands will have all the features of normal MagicBands (working as park tickets, hotel room keys, methods of payment when a credit card is linked, Lightning Lane tickets, etc.) along with a few new features. For example, they’ll be able to interact with the 50th Anniversary statues.

What will Olaf do?!

If you’re planning on sticking to the normal MagicBands, Disney just released almost 15 new bands online! Here are a few of the new bands that you can now find on shopDisney.

MagicBands

First up is the Dooney & Bourke Lady and the Tramp MagicBand, which shows the title characters in a pretty wallpaper-esque design. Apparently the pattern is inspired by vintage movie poster art.
