Spirit Airlines Adding NEW Nonstop Route to Orlando Soon

Air travel has been having some issues lately, like staffing shortages and major cancellations.

Have you had any flying issues recently?

A lot of airlines have reduced their flight routes due to these issues, but we have also seen other airlines actually ADD new routes as travel is picking back up. And now, another U.S. city will soon have a direct flight to Orlando!

Beginning November 17th, Spirit Airlines will be operating nonstop, daily flights between Orlando International Airport and San Antonio International Airport!

So, Texas residents will now have another option when flying into the Sunshine State. This is also notable considering airlines like Hawaiian Airlines just announced they are discontinuing their route to Orlando.

A lot of airlines have been cutting down on flights in a major way, including American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, and Delta Airlines. This is in part due to staffing issues, including a pilot shortage.

But, there are also some airlines who have added routes to Orlando, like Norse Atlantic Airways, Breeze Airways, and Avelo Airlines.

There are also almost a dozen airlines confirmed to be flying into Orlando International Airport’s new terminal, which will be opening up in September. This new terminal will include new restaurants, stores, and technology.
