You may or may not know that one of our favorite luau dinner shows was confirmed to be permanently closed in March 2022.

However, just because it’s closed doesn’t mean there aren’t more great dinner shows in Orlando! We just so happen to have the details about a returning luau favorite coming SOON!
Starting this Saturday, July 2nd, Universal’s Wantilan Laua is BACK! This “festive feast” will take place on Saturdays with seating starting at 6:00PM and registration opening at 5:30PM.

This dinner show offers guests an “evening of authentic Polynesian food and entertainment” at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at the Universal Orlando Resort.

At this luau, guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet (and pig roast) while listening to live music and watching captivating hula and fire dancers that will immerse you in Polynesian culture. If you’re feeling up to it, you might even get to join in on the dancing!

Tickets are required to attend with adult tickets beginning at $89 and going up to $109. For kids 3 and up joining in on the fun, tickets will begin at $39 and go up to $59.

There has been a lot of exciting news out of Universal Orlando lately! Universal recently announced that new escape rooms are coming soon. These will be inspired by Back to the Future and Jurassic World!

We stayed a couple of nights at the Royal Pacific a couple of weeks ago during the last part of our vacation (we were at the Dolphin for 8 nights). What a lovely resort! The room we had was a bit tight but did overlook the pool area. We are not the biggest Universal fans but glad we went there for a couple of days. I would highly recommend this resort to stay at. It includes the Unlimited pass which was a great perk and why we chose it, but it was pricey. We paid about $420 for a suite at the Dolphin and Royal Pacific was $530 for a standard room with view. But considering the Unlimited Pass would have added about $120 per person (3 of us) per day (2 days) it was a huge savings.
