While it’s fun to plan your park days, restaurants, and snacks, one of the first things to plan for your Disney World trip is how you’re going to get there!

And, if you’re choosing to fly to Disney World, there are so many different airlines to choose from — not to mention that 2022 has been a wild time to try to get flights. With huge flight cancellations this summer, choosing the right airline is more important than ever. From new airlines, to tried and true ones, and now a brand new one — there’s now another way to get non-stop service to Orlando so you can start your Disney World trip without the hassle of switching planes.
Breeze Airways is now offering nonstop service to the Orlando International Airport from Charleston, South Carolina, according to the Orlando Sentinel! The airline flew its inaugural flight on Friday, June 24th, kicking off the newest direct flight to Orlando.

The first Breeze Airways flight was in May 2021 from Tampa, so this airline is still fairly new. They’ll be flying to 30 cities this summer, including 6 in Florida, and will have daily flights to Orlando during peak seasons.

The airline is mostly focused on flights in the East and Southeast, with an emphasis on flying to cities that would have been a long drive otherwise, or are underserved by other airlines. They also have a few west coast destinations, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, and plan to double their fleet this year — so, we can expect to see even more growth in the near future.

With pilot shortages and other airlines cancelling hundreds of flights a day, you’ll now have another option to alleviate some of the stress if you’re flying from an airport serviced by Breeze Airlines.
