Stitch Fans: Don’t Leave Disney World Without Doing This!

Disney loves to celebrate movie anniversaries in the theme parks!

In the past, we’ve seen special treats, limited-time offerings, and TONS of different Disney World merchandise collections to honor big milestones for classic Disney films. This year, Lilo and Stitch is celebrating a BIG anniversary and there’s something special Stitch fans will want to check out in the parks!

During your next visit to Magic Kingdom, make sure to take the pathway between the castle hub and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (near the entrance to Tomorrowland)– there you may find a PhotoPass photographer with a hidden photo op!

Disney PhotoPass shared on Twitter today that this location has a special “Experiment 626” Magic Shot which you can pose for to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Lilo & Stitch.

We’ve actually seen this particular Magic Shot before, back in 2019. Disney didn’t note how long this photo op will be available, and photo offerings can sometimes change. So be sure to check and see if it’s in the park during your next visit.

If it’s there on June 26th, taking this photo could be especially fun because June 26th is Stitch Day! (Get it? Because it’s 6/26!)

If you want another opportunity to get a photo with Stitch, make sure to check out the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Stitch and Buzz Lightyear generally alternate appearances there throughout the day and you can walk up, chat for a bit, and grab a selfie when they’re out.
