NEW Snacks and Two Menu Overhauls Are Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

One thing that’s changing constantly in Disney World is the MENUS!

50’s Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios

We frequently see new snacks, updated offerings at restaurants, and limited-time treats for holidays or special occasions. And today we’re adding to the list of menu updates because some changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

So what all is changing at this busy park? Let’s start with Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Here, you’ll find new appetizers, entrees, and desserts starting on June 2nd. Start your meal with the new Sci-fi Smoked Wings (tossed in a porter barbecue sauce with a house-made pineapple and poppy seed coleslaw) or the Spinach and Artichoke Dip (a plant-based blend of spinach, artichoke, red peppers, cauliflower, cashew cheese, and oat milk served with house-made chips).

Two new salads are also coming soon! The Black Garlic Caesar Salad is “a petite romaine, grilled hearts of artichoke, chopped Applewood smoked bacon, shaved parmesan covered with house-made black garlic Caesar dressing, and served with a tasty, toasted crostini.” If that’s not your speed, then the Grilled Chicken Citrus Salad has romaine lettuce, spinach, arugula, rainbow tomatoes, candied pecans, cranberries, and feta cheese topped with a house-made citrus vinaigrette and grilled marinated chicken.

As far as your main course goes, there are new burgers to try as well. The Feature Film Burger — Surf & Turf has “a signature blend of beef and house-made seasoning” served on a brioche bun and topped with a shrimp and crab cake, pepper jack cheese, chipotle hollandaise sauce, grilled onions, heirloom tomato, arugula, and house-made vinaigrette. Also, the previously featured Pork on Pork Burger is now on the permanent menu! It’s a grilled house-made pork patty topped with roasted pork belly, white sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, cabbage slaw, and a house-made Carolina mustard sauce.

For dessert, there are even more updates with two new items. The Red Planet is made of white chocolate cheesecake with blueberry compote on a graham cracker tart with matcha sponge and gold candied pecans. Or, try the Out-of-this-World Sci-Fi Swirl — “a pineapple mousse with passion fruit cosmic swirl and a spiced lime spaceship garnished with space dust and blood orange coulis.”

Moving on to other spots around the park, there are new items coming to 50s Prime Time Cafe on June 7th. Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs and Creamy Tomato Soup are being added to the list of appetizers, while Grandpa Jean’s Chicken Pot Pie makes its return to the main menu. For dessert, they’ll soon have a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, a Lemon Meringue Pie, and a Grasshopper Bar. Sounds yummy! Finally, there’s the Stained Glass Dessert, which is a blend of whipped pineapple fluff and cubes of strawberry, lime, and orange gelatin for the kiddos.

And it wouldn’t be seasonal menu updates without an addition to Hollywood Scoops! Starting tomorrow, this popular ice cream stop is serving up the Key Lime Milkshake, a Key lime vanilla cream shake topped with lemon-lime doughnut garnished with a sweet graham cracker crumb.

Finally, two beverages are being added to the menu at Kat Saka’s Kettle. First up is the Cold Brew Black Caf which features Joffrey’s Cold Brew, sweet cream cheese, and cocoa puffs. If you want something a little stronger, you can order the Spiked Cold Brew Black Caf, which is the same but made with Godiva liqueur. This drink is pretty popular at Disneyland, so we’re excited to get our own version here in Disney World!
