Disney World’s Wait Times Hit 4 HOURS For ONE Ride Yesterday

It’s official — the summer crowds are beginning to arrive in Disney World ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

As of yesterday, May 26th, we’re continuing to see ride wait times increase, with Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios having a wait time at one point of almost FOUR HOURS. Of course, this isn’t unheard of, but it’s pretty different from the wait times we were seeing just one week ago. Other ride wait times aren’t quite as long, but they are beginning to go up.

So what can you do if standby wait times are really long? You have a few options — you can just grin and bear it and wait in the standby line, you could wait to see if the line goes down later in the day (or visit an attraction first thing in the morning) or you can purchase Disney Genie+ or an Individual Attraction Selection (available for select rides) to bypass the standby line and use the Lightning Lane.
