One of the best parts of a Disney Cruise is the youth clubs that let kids have unique experiences while parents get a break. Built-in babysitting, people! There are age limits, though, so keep that in mind if you’re planning a cruise.
Disney Cruise kids clubs include character interactions, activities, and even immersive experiences straight out of Marvel or Star Wars. Parents can step away for some relaxing time on their own, while kids are making memories.

Unique Experiences
While there is plenty to do in Disney World, there are special experiences you can find on Disney Cruises that you won’t find in the parks. Marvel Day at Sea is available on select cruises, and it includes special character appearances, superhero entertainment, and more.
There are also exclusive shows to catch, like the upcoming modern theatrical adaptation of The Little Mermaid, coming soon to the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Wish.

Just booked a DCL cruise in lieu of my normal spring Flower & Garden Festival trip. The WDW experience has been degraded with the loss of advance Fastpass+, paid resort parking, no resort package delivery, loss of Magical Express, limited housekeeping, park reservations/2pm park hopping, and the paid Genie+/LL$ system. It’s discouraging even thinking about planning a WDW trip now.
100% would do a cruise over the parks right now. Less stress, everything included. I have a lot of issues with planning a trip to the parks right now that the cruises simply don’t have.
We’d love to! Had two cruises canceled in ’20 & ’21 yet will not try again until they get rid of vaccine and mask mandates.
Cruises are relaxing. WDW is not.
