The series will premiere exclusively in the U.S. and Canada this fall on Disney+ with a two-season pickup, and according to Deadline, this move is partially due to plans for ABC’s Monday Night Football during the Monday night 8PM to 10PM time slot.

  1. I have to wonder if this is a matter of the show losing popularity and thus it’s premium time slot or just another money grab by Disney to force us to pay for Disney+ to view the show. Personally, I lost interest in DWTS after Bobby Bones won and showed that it was merely a popularity race and not actually based on dancing talent. (No shade towards Bones, I listen to him every morning and love his radio show) My money is on the show going away after the planned 2- years on D+.

  2. Dancing With The Stars has run its course. It’s dancing with people who think they are stars. They should have all really good contestants on one show. Another show would have people who have no right to be on the dance floor. Actually the later would be more interesting. Disney should let this show go. Or reinvent it. It’s boring
