If you’re a Disney fan who loves waking up early in the morning and going for a run, then you definitely need to get involved with runDisney!
The race weekends are held throughout the year in Disney World, and each one comes with its own special theme and events. This upcoming weekend is the inaugural runDisney Springtime Surprise, but there has been a small hiccup before the weekend starts!
What’s going on? Well, it seems that according to supply chain issues, the medals for this weekend’s races may not arrive in time for the event. This news was announced to participants in an email today.
UPDATE March 30th, 2022: Disney has sent out a second e-mail confirming that the medals have arrived in time and will be distributed as normal.
If the medals do not arrive in time for runners to receive them this weekend, then they’ll be mailed out based on the address that’s listed in your runDisney account. If you’re participating this weekend, we recommend checking your account information to make sure that it’s updated.
