A Disney’s Magical Express Replacement Service is Expanding Its Fleet!

For those flying to their Disney World vacation, one thing you may have to consider is how you will get to and from the airport, especially now that the Magical Express is no longer an option.

You will be missed, Magical Express!

One of the replacements for the Magical Express is a service called the Sunshine Flyer. Each Sunshine Flyer bus is themed to look like either a 1920s locomotive or passenger car and will take you from the Orlando International Airport directly to your Disney World resort hotel.

Sunshine Flyer announced this month that they will be expanding and adding 10 new buses to their fleet! With the exciting news, they also asked their Instagram followers to help come up with the names for the new buses — and today they announced the winners!

The new names are all animal and nature themed. The new names are: Marlin, Dingo, Cricket, Bumble Bee, Oriole, Ladybug, Peacock, Koala, Robin, and Platypus.

The Sunshine Flyer became a transportation option in February, and during the first 50 days of operation, in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, they will be doing donating 50% of the proceeds to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
