Flying to Disney World can take a lot of planning! From deciding on an airline to looking for a good deal on tickets, there’s a lot to consider when booking a flight. Then, once you land in Florida, you’ll need to find a way to get to your hotel!

Speaking of flights, Southwest Airlines recently announced a new ticket option coming soon. Let’s take a look!
Southwest Airlines announced that they will be adding a new fare category, according to the Washington Post. The new tickets will be a step up from the airline’s lowest-cost tickets.

The new fare option, called Wanna Get Away Plus, will offer passengers additional perks, like increased Rapid Rewards points at eight points per dollar and “the ability to transfer eligible unused flight credits to another customer,” per the Washington Post.

Additionally, Southwest will offer Wanna Get Away Plus customers a seat on a different flight on the same day of travel at no extra charge if a seat is available between the same cities, or on same-day standby if flights are full. Southwest’s Business Select and Anytime categories will also get these same new benefits, according to the Washington Post.

The Anytime category will also receive new perks like Priority Lane access and EarlyBird Check-In. Southwest’s least expensive tier, The Wanna Get Away category, will not change.

Southwest has not shared when this new category will officially begin being offered, but guests can find a full list of features on their website. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more updates!

The best Airline to travel..I Love Southwest Airline.
You can call the boarding procedure a cattle call if you want but two free bags makes it all worthwhile. I’m tired of all of the hidden fees from other airlines (charging for everything). Thank you, Southwest!
Yes, I have flown Southwest and have a flight booked for July for my wife and I to fly into Dallas/Love Field.
