Disney fans criticized the company for the late response, with some disappointed employees of the company recently participating in a walkout as a result. However, an Investor’s event is still scheduled to happen in Orlando next week.

According to Deadline, the event will be hosted by Disney CEO Bob Chapek. The meeting, which will happen on Monday and Tuesday, will focus on Disney’s theme parks, which make up 30% of the Company’s overall revenue.

Theme Park business is booming

During the Q1 Earnings Call, Disney announced that its Parks, Experiences, and Products revenues for the quarter have doubled compared to this time last year. They increased from $3.6 billion to $7.2 billion.
