Do you have plans for Earth Day this year? Well, if you’ll be in Disney World, Animal Kingdom has you covered!
Every year, Animal Kingdom goes all out in celebration of Earth Day — and even extends their celebrations past just one day to an entire week! Disney just shared a sneak peek of what we can expect at Animal Kingdom next month.
First and foremost, Animal Kingdom’s Earth Week will be April 18th to 24th (Earth Day is Friday, April 22nd). During that week, visitors to Animal Kingdom will be able to take part in several special experiences all about the planet.
To celebrate Earth Week, you can head out to Conservation Station and take part in the Animation Experience, where you’ll learn how to draw a Disney character!
You can also receive an Earth Day Nature badge by completing the limited-time Wilderness Explorer activity. Additionally, there will be a special Character Cruise on the Discovery River and a Wall-E and Eve Magic Shot at the park entrance.
Food and merchandise-wise, there will be a limited edition Earth Day 2022 pin, and some special food and beverage offerings throughout the park.
