The Disney Wish is one of three new cruise ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line, and the fifth to be added to the fleet overall.

In February, the ship hit water for the first time, a major milestone that happened just after an announcement that the Wish‘s maiden voyage was going to be delayed by a month. Now, we’ve got actual photos of this new cruise ship at the shipyard where it’s being built in Germany!
Thanks to reader Stephan Schröder in Germany, we have some photos of the Disney Wish in Germany, where it is being built at the Meyer Werft Shipyard.

The Wish will sail on its maiden voyage from Cape Canaveral on July 14th, 2022. This ship features a wide variety of restaurants, activities, and even the very first Disney attraction at sea! The front of the ship features Captain Minnie in all her glory, who became a Disney Cruise Ship captain in 2019 as an initiative by Disney to inspire girls and young women.

The stern features Rapunzel painting the name onto the ship.

The Disney Wish will be the biggest cruise ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet (with 15 passenger decks!) and will sail to tropical destinations like the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

Onboard, the Wish will feature three new restaurants, new shows, an adults-only area, and an area just for kids. Seeing these photos makes us so excited to see the inside of the Wish when it sets sail this summer! We’ll keep you updated on all things Disney Wish, so stay tuned to AllEars.
