Disney World is known for its amazing technology. Sometimes, you can even take some of that technology home with you! We’ve seen some pretty cool souvenirs that glow in the dark, and we’ve even seen some tricky Light-Up Minnie ears. Today, though, we found a souvenir that changes colors!
If you thought those EPCOT’s light-up Minnie ears were cool, wait until you see the newest Disney merchandise we found!
Remember those awesome Pop Century-themed Minnie ears? Well, we found another pair of ears devoted to a Disney Resort — the Loungefly Art of Animation Minnie Ears. These ears feature some of Disney’s most popular animated characters including Ariel, Siba, Nemo, Crush, Dory, and more (who also happen to be the icons of the Art of Animation resort!).
But, these ears have a secret; they change color in UV light!
Yes, they really do! We took a pair outside to get some sun, and they became pink almost immediately! So cool, right?
How fun is that? We noticed that once we went back indoors, it took about five minutes for them to become white again. It’s sort of like having two pairs of ears in one!

When I first saw the picture/title I got excited because I thought they were going to be all white ears until UV when the pictures would get colored in. Not a fan of the all pink ears, and given how much sun there is in Florida, definitely a pass from me.
