Between the current Festival of the Arts, preparation for the Flower and Garden Festival, and the ongoing celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, there’s a lot going on right now. EPCOT is also going through a huge transformational period right now, with a new restaurant, Connections Cafe, currently under construction. Let’s check in and see how it’s going!

There is still no opening date for Connections Cafe, but construction is underway! We even spotted a crane next to the building this weekend!

It was pretty loud over by Guest Relations from all of the construction, so we know they’re in there working hard to bring us EPCOT’s newest dining destination!

  1. It feels like an odd chic ice to me to continue to add dining options to Epcot that already has such a diverse and large selection of dining options. World Showcase alone has at least one dining option per pavilion, and even then it’s more often than not 2 or more including a quick service and seated option. Then there are several non-ethnic/regional options in Future World already so it’s a little confusing.
