Today, we’re taking a look at how Disney+ will ring in the most eco-friendly day of the year, Earth Day!

In a recent Twitter thread, Disney+ announced that they have three new movies and specials coming to the platform on Earth Day (April 22nd).

Just like other Earth Days, DisneyNature will commemorate the environmental-themed holiday with a new nature documentary! This year’s offering is called Polar Bear and, according to Deadline, will follow the life of a new mother polar bear who has to navigate the world with her children. It’s sure to be a touching, inspiring story (we always cry during these documentaries, they’re seriously beautiful!).

The next Earth Day offering is National Geographic’s Explorer: The Last Tepui, which is a continuation of NatGeo’s Explorer series. Much like other Explorer documentaries, this one follows a story about people pushing their limits to go to the remote edges of the Earth. In this case, Alex Honnold (yes, the guy who did the Free Solo climb), climber Mark Synott, and famous biologist  Bruce Means will climb a tepui (a mountain so steep it’s basically one of those flying mountains from Avatar) to find undiscovered species of animals!

Finally, we’ll also get to watch NatGeo’s The Biggest Little Farm: The Return documentary! This one is a sequel to The Biggest Little Farm, following John and Molly Chester as they continue their agriculture project, which aims to make a diverse farm that’s in tune with nature and reflects the ecosystem! If you love stuff like The Amazing Dr. Pol and National Geographic’s other farming shows, you’ll love this one.

You’ll be able to catch all these shows on Earth Day at Disney+! Whether you want to see something thrilling, inspiring, or fun, there’s something for everyone. We’ll definitely be watching on April 22nd learning about farms, polar bears, and climbing impossible cliffs! If you’re looking for more Disney news, stick around because we’re always keeping up with the latest info.
