There’s so much you can do at Disney World, from going on walking treks through Kilimanjaro Safaris to learning how to surf on artificial waves, but did you know you can get married at Disney World? Well, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings helps happy couples plan their special day at the Disney parks, crafting unique wedding ceremonies, proposals, and all sorts of other milestone events.

If you’ve ever wondered about some of the most unexpected locales where you can get married in Disney World, fear not!
Today, we’re taking a look at 12 of the most interesting (and sometimes unusual) wedding spots!
World Showcase Pavilions
First of all, did you know that pretty much every EPCOT pavilion can become a wedding venue? These weddings usually take place in the morning, but they can add a little international flair! For example, you can transport your special day to a quaint village in Germany, making it a true fairy tale wedding.

You can also go for a more Venetian look by having your wedding in the Italy Pavilion’s main courtyard or on the waterfront! A few pavilions have multiple venues, and they often end up being in interesting spots. If you’ve ever been in the Italy Pavilion, you know this central courtyard is gorgeous!

You know that bonsai garden/koi pond/walkway in the Japan Pavilion? Well, it’s apparently also a wedding venue! Much like the Italy Pavilion, you’ve got two options for the venue; you can either have the koi pond as your backdrop or the Torii Gate (that big red archway) and Spaceship Earth behind you as you say your vows. If you’re going for a more immersive experience, we recommend that koi pond.

Over at the UK Pavilion, the Victorian gardens in the back of the pavilion, where you’d usually have live performances or meet-and-greets, can become an enchanting little ceremony! This is definitely one of the more “typical” looking venues on this list, with a gazebo and all the usual wedding fixin’s.

Over at the American Adventure Pavilion, you can get married inside the pavilion’s main rotunda, which also serves as the entrance to the audio-animatronic show nearby. If you’re a history nerd like yours truly, this pavilion provides a unique opportunity to be married in front of a wide range of history relics (or at least replicas of them). This one definitely has some great upscale vibes and it’ll make you feel like you’re having a wedding worthy of the White House!

Over in the Canada Pavilion, you can have a Rocky Mountain wedding set in front of the rocky waterfall and gorgeous architecture of this section of EPCOT! Just like all the other venues, this one features a pretty killer view and a memorable service.

Over in the China Pavilion, you can have your wedding in front of the Temple of Heaven (which will eventually be home to the 360-degree movie Wondrous China… someday?) with lotus ponds and greenery complimenting the wonderful architecture! Although this pavilion might get overlooked every now and then, it makes for quite the venue.

The Morocco Pavilion, which oftentimes gets skipped over or overlooked, actually makes for a beautiful wedding spot! While intricate, rustic architecture that transports you to the other side of the world, the ground is covered in flowers, and the whole ceremony has a wonderful mosaic fountain as a backdrop.

Tower of Terror
If you love old Hollywood, the Twilight Zone, or just generally spookiness, this is the venue for you! You can get married right in front of the Tower of Terror and one of the best parts of this venue is that you get to be in the park after closing, which means you’ll have the whole park to yourself.

This wedding would have a classy, vintage vibe that’s definitely Instagram-worthy!
Pandora: World of Avatar
We’ve seen wedding venues that take you around the world, but what about a venue that takes you out of this world? Over at Pandora: World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom, you can get married in front of the floating mountains with enchanting, otherworldly greenery all around you!

This is a great experience for all the sci-fi lovers out there; the nerd levels are definitely high with this one. Plus, even if you aren’t an Avatar superfan, this is just a beautiful spot to have your special day!
The Croquet Lawn
When you think about Disney World weddings, you don’t immediately think “the BoardWalk Inn’s Croquet Lawn” (if you do, that’s amazing and you deserve a gold medal for guessing exactly what we’re about to discuss), but it actually makes for a pretty great venue!

This waterfront wedding spot is tucked away at Boardwalk Inn and is perfect for anyone that wants a midday wedding since it has much more availability compared to the in-park venues.
The Luau Beach
Finally, there’s the Luau Beach, located in between the Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resorts! The interesting thing about this venue is that it’s walking distance from the Disney Wedding Pavilion, the quintessential wedding spot at Disney World. If you’re looking to get that seaside wedding but would rather go to Florida than Hawaii, this is the place for you.
