2022 is set to mark a new beginning for former Disney Company CEO, Bob Iger, as he officially enters retirement.
But, that doesn’t mean that he won’t necessarily still be busy. Iger has shared that he is looking forward to having “a blank canvas” and it seems that he may be filling his time by working his second book, trying his hand at being a weatherman, and potentially even buying an NBA team. However, before he moves on from Disney, it looks like Iger decided to do something that all of us Disney fans can relate to — visit Disney World!
Bob Iger took to Twitter today to share that he spent three days in “the most magical place on earth,” expressing his gratitude for the Cast Members who “took care of him all these years.”
Just spent 3 days @WaltDisneyWorld & was reminded (yet again) what makes me so proud of @disney…our cast members! Thanks for taking care of me all these years. Thanks for your talent, your commitment & the gratitude you expressed. I am deeply grateful to all of you!

He didn’t share any more details about his trip to Disney World, but we can imagine that it was filled with all the iconic snacks, rides, and entertainment that we enjoy when visiting the parks too!
While rumors have circulated that the former CEO could return to The Walt Disney Company in 2022, Iger has continued to confirm his upcoming departure. Though, he has been open about his perspective on how the company can move forward in the coming years, the new CEO Bob Chapek, and Disney+.
Iger will officially retire in just a few days at the beginning of 2022 and Disney has already announced who will replace him as the Chairman of the Board.

Yes, I would be shocked to see Bob Iger and family walking around Disney World. Somehow I feel the VIP service they received was like no other guests. I wonder if they stayed at a Value Resort? Ate at Casey’s, and had to search for an available table. Perhaps they were in a three hour queue, waiting to experience Rise of the Resistance. Were they shoulder to shoulder with thousands of guests in front of the castle, watching fireworks? I think they were spotted riding one of those family bicycles through Saratoga Springs. I’m sure there’s a picture of Bob gnawing on a Turkey leg. Hope he asked for a pass holder discount when purchasing souvenirs. The Iger family sure knows how to have a great vacation. Hope they didn’t wipe out their bank account
