Disney’s official fan club is holding their annual event, Destination D23, in Orlando this weekend.
The event takes place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and will include special exhibits, presentations, advance screenings of upcoming movies, and more. But one event will be missing from this year’s schedule.
Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, was planning on welcoming guests to Destination D23 in person.
Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) recently tweeted that Chapek will no longer be attending the event at all. A Disney spokeswoman stated that Chapek has a conflict on Friday and is unable to make it to Orlando in time.
If you’re heading to Destination D23, though, there will still be plenty to do at the event. You can listen to presentations about Disney’s history, take part in activities like trivia challenges, and announcements about the future of the parks and company

He is too busy raising prices on everything and taking the extras away from the Disney Experience.
