And, if you plan on making your way to Disney World or Universal Orlando for the holidays, you might want to prepare for MORE crowds.

According to Click Orlando, an influx of crowds are expected to head to Orlando after the U.S. lifts its travel band on international visitors on November 8th.

Orlando International Airport

Marketing for Visit Orlando has already been ramped up to appeal towards international travelers ahead of their return. President and CEO of Visit Orlando Casandra Matej stated in an interview that “We are so excited, and it couldn’t have been better timing. Visit Orlando is in London literally inviting our UK friends back to Orlando because we’re open, we know you can travel safely and we now know the protocols.”

The addition of international travelers would bring about $6 billion back into the Central Florida economy per year, which would be extremely helpful after the travel industry’s recent hit during the pandemic. As a reminder, international travelers must be vaccinated and provide proof when traveling, while U.S. citizens and long-term residents must either be vaccinated or give proof of a negative COVID-19 a day before returning back to the U.S.
