NEWS: Disney+ Buys International Rights to ‘The Hardy Boys’ Mystery Series

Disney+ has previously come out with a lot of great original content, like The Mandalorian, Loki, and WandaVision. But, that’s not the only place to look for new shows!

If you want to have the whole suite of Disney shows, you can look into the Disney Bundle, which includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. It works a little differently outside the U.S., and if that’s the case for you, we’ve got an update for how you can stream a popular mystery show on Disney+ (or Disney’s other international streaming service, Star) SOON.

According to Variety, Disney+ just bought the international rights to The Hardy Boys, which is a popular mystery series based on the novels by Franklin W. Dixon.

This series will continue to air on Hulu in the U.S., but for most locations outside the U.S., it will be on Star. Star is a subset of Disney+ where you can find most of the Hulu content outside the U.S. The only exception will be in Latin America, where The Hardy Boys will remain on Disney+.

Both season 1 and season 2 of The Hardy Boys will debut in 2022 for international audiences on Disney+ or Star.

And, if you’re in the U.S., you can watch season 2 of The Hardy Boys when it arrives on Hulu in 2022.
