And if you happened to miss the biggest news of the week, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered with this summary of everything you may have missed.

The Holidays Return To Disney World

The holidays are returning to Disney World this year in a BIG way, with some events and activities making a return after having been canceled last year due to the global health crisis. We already knew about EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays returning, but we were excited to learn that the Candlelight Processional will also come back this year.

Disney World Not Allowing One-Night Hotel Stays

If you had plans to book a single night at a Disney World resort hotel over the holidays, you’re going to be out of luck. Cast Members told us that one-night stays are currently unavailable for new hotel bookings for all arrival dates between October 9th through December 4th.

Guests Can Now Register For DAS In A New Way

Disney World has updated its Disability Access Service (DAS) Registration to allow guests to sign up for the service ahead of their visit via an online video chat with a Cast Member. DAS allows guests with disabilities to request a return time for an attraction that is calculated based on the length of the line when they make their request.

Guests can register for the service between 2 and 30 days before their trip (the trip must be after November 1st to use the video chat option). Guests can also still visit guest services at the parks to register. They will also have access to their DAS requests via Disney Genie in the My Disney Experience app.

Disneyland’s WEB SLINGERS May Use Standby On Select Days

Over in Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort, the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Attraction  has been requiring guests to obtain boarding passes to ride. However, a recent update on Disneyland’s website now states that “guests may be required to join the virtual queue,” with the key word being “may.”

This suggests that Disneyland may use a standby line at select times (perhaps when the park isn’t as crowded or there isn’t as much demand for the ride), allowing guests to ride without a boarding pass.
