Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional Will Return in 2021

Update: Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional will return in 2021 on December 4th and 5th, with shows both nights beginning at 5:30PM and 7:45PM.

The holidays have arrived at the Disneyland Resort, and that means the return of seasonal entertainment.

We’ve already heard about the return of Candlelight Processional in Disney World and about all of the fun seasonal fireworks and parades coming back to Disneyland.

We may also have our first major sign of Candlelight Processional coming back to Disneyland this year! Though Disney has not made an official announcement, a recent permit could mean the event will return.

Disneyland recently filed a permit for “Candlelight Procession Installation” at the Main Street Train Station in Disneyland Park. The permit was filed with the City of Anaheim and may mean that this prep work is set to begin soon.

Specifically, the permit mentions “outdoor steel platforms, outdoor wheelchair lift, accessible platform, show light towers and audio towers, (2) generators, movable folding viewing seats and wheelchair spaces with companion seats.”
