Over the past year, we’ve seen quite a few new updates to Cast Member costumes in Disney World.

In the springtime TONS of resort Cast Members got an updated costume, new 50th anniversary nametags are coming, and Disney even announced changes to the approved “Disney-look” to be more inclusive (allowing for things like visible tattoos). And, now more Cast Members are looking a bit different in the parks!
Today we noticed that some Disney PhotoPass Photographers were sporting a modified look! Previously, the Cast Members in this role were required to wear a costume with navy pants, a white undershirt, and PhotoPass vest. But, Disney is changing up the look for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary.

According to a PhotoPass Cast Member that we spoke with, the vests are now optional as part of the costume, though they will be completely gone from the costume beginning October 1st. Instead, you’ll be able to spot these Cast Members in their white top with a new patch on the left sleeve (which has yet to be added).

They’ll also be sporting a new fanny pack to hold all of the PhotoPass cards that they previously stored in their vests.

These are the first Cast Member costumes we’ve seen receive a 50th Anniversary makeover, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for any other updates! And, in the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest Disney news!

That vest was hot, just the white shirt looked good & that is how you looked in training.
