NEWS: Disneyland Announces New Merriest Nites Holiday Event For 2021

We were just at Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash for all the Halloween celebrations, treats, and villains.

But the park is already getting ready for the next big holiday party! Disneyland just announced an all-new After-Hours event to ring in the Christmas holidays. 

The new event is called Disney Merriest Nites and will be a separate limited-ticketed after-hours event at Disneyland Park that runs from 8PM to midnight on select nights.

This party is actually SIX holiday parties in one, with different sections of the park celebrating in different ways! Mickey will be on Main Street, U.S.A. to welcome guests along with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the other Muppets who are ready for a holiday sing-along.

Princess Tiana is going to be celebrating in New Orleans Square with a bayou-themed party.

Miguel from Coco will be in Frontierland for a holiday fiesta, or you could go to Fantasyland to join “a wintertime celebration” with Elsa. Lilo and Stitch are hosting a tropical-themed holiday party, and Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland is celebrating as well!

Disneyland has said there will be “enhanced entertainment” during the party like character sightings, special holiday food and drinks, and themed photo-ops. Plus, guests will get unlimited digital downloads from Photopass during this event.

During the party, guests will have access to select rides, attractions, and entertainment. So you’ll get to enjoy the returning Christmastime overlays at “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday with a shorter wait.

You’ll also get to see the “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade during this after-hours event, which will feature Disney and holiday characters alike, including Anna, Elsa, Mickey, Minnie, reindeer, gingerbread men, and more

The Merriest Nites will be taking place on November 11th, 16th, and 30th, as well as December 7th and 9th. And, the cost for tickets starts at $175 per person for the November 11th party and then drops to $165 per person on every other night (Nov. 16th, 30th, and Dec. 7th, 9th).
