Disney World Adds Purchasing Limits to MORE Merchandise

Over the years there have been quite a few popular Disney merchandise collections that sell out FAST.

And, in response to the high demand from guests, Disney has started limiting purchases to two per item per guest for select releases. The most recent release to have these restrictions was Disney’s Halloween Collection, and now it seems that the purchase limits are spreading to more than just the new or limited-edition items in the parks.

Disney usually designates merchandise that is limited to two items per purchase with signs that can be found on displays around the merchandise shops. And, originally, we had only seen these near select items at The Emporium in Magic Kingdom, but today we stopped into Star Traders and noticed similar signs around the store.

But, these signs applied to all of the merchandise in the store, meaning that you can buy all kinds of different items, but you can’t buy more than two of the same one.

The limit applies to all items now

We spoke to a Cast Member about the new signage and they confirmed that the limit is in effect store-wide and park-wide due to a current shortage of merchandise.

So, the limits may go away when Disney’s stock increases, but for now you’ll want to keep in mind that you can only buy up to two of the same item across Magic Kingdom stores. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
